Biomedical Engineering

         The Department of Biomedical Engineering was established in 1997 within the the College of Engineering at the University of Baghdad. Then it joined  Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering in 2002 based on the urgent need for the health sector in Iraq for supplying the health sector with graduates holding a bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering sciences.  . It is a five year full time study program  ; The graduate get a solid understanding of the technological developments taking place in the fields of medical engineering and bioengineering.
