The department of Biochemical engineering, represented by the professor Dr. Ali Abbar, noticeably participated in the scientific event held at Baghdad university from April, 14-15th, 2026. This event showcased a diverse contribution from various Iraqi universities.
The conference presented several projects and innovative ideas that contribute to promoting knowledge economy and the scientific research. Among them, the projects of the master candidate Adhraa Abbas, which obtained a patent, was chosen as the best one among exhibited works participating in the conference.
This participation is part of the department’s crucial role in encouraging research endeavors and students to proceed in presenting reliable scientific projects that serve community and keep pace with recent developments in different sectors.
