On Sunday, February 22, 2026 Al-Khwarizmi College welcomed the ministerial committee responsible for evaluating the scientific research outputs of postgraduate students. This workshop was held at the higher studies defense hall, attended by professor Dr. Wadoud Taher Muhammad, the dean, professor Dr. Yusra Abdul Saheb, director of higher studies affairs, Professor Dr. Hussein Qassim Hussein, scientific affairs director, as well as dean’s assistants and accreditation personnel from the university units.
The workshop included an introduction to the working procedures of the central accreditation committee in accordance with the ministerial specialized teams’ directives after the ministerial approval on recommendations of the specialized committee in 1-12-2025.
This would contribute to strengthening the quality standards and the scientific accreditation as well as promoting the educational process and providing precise statistics of the research approaches during and after students’ thesis defenses in addition to selecting accredited journals for publication.
