On Thursday December 4th, 2025, the department of biomedical engineering organized a scientific field trip, for third year students, to middle east hospital as part of the department scientific field activities under the supervision of faculty leaders.
The visit aimed at promoting practical learning of students through direct showcasing of recent medical apparatus, techniques used in diseases diagnosis and treatment.
During the tour, students exposed to tomography systems such as advanced CT scan, MRI and linear accelerator. In addition to exploring essential apparatus equipped with recent international techniques used inside operation rooms.
Moreover, medical staff and technicians presented a detailed elaboration about the operation procedures of these apparatus and their viable roles in diagnosing medical cases with precision, as well as, demonstrating procedures of connecting medical systems with information networks to guarantee fast response and improve the quality of therapeutic services provided.
