Communications and information engineering department at Al-Khwarizmi college held a set of remarkable events, as part of entrepreneurship week with the participation of third year students, morning study programs, under the supervision of the head of the department assistant professor Liwa Fasil Abdel Ameer, and the lecturer Dr. Fatima Bahjat Ibrahim.

The proceedings witnessed a noticeable attendance of freshmen, where participants presented practical proposals for their entrepreneurial projects that work on processing real trouble in communication and information technology fields. The presentation included success stories achieved by students as well as extensive elaboration about the importance of communication and information major in the job market, and the countless opportunities provided in programming, AI, Networking, and modern communications.

This event aimed to foster students’ innovation and entrepreneurship culture, empowering them to turn their thoughts into applicable projects in addition to introducing freshmen to syllabus, courses, and future careers.

The organizers of this event emphasized that these activities are part of the department’s strategic plan to support students, grow practical skills, and integrate academic education with real – world applications required by the job market.
