Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering was honored with the International Creativity Medal at the Fifth International Conference on Creativity and Innovation. The event, held under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, took place at Al-Nahrain University in collaboration with the Department of Research and Development and the Iraqi Creativity and Innovation Forum. The conference, themed “With Creativity, Nations Flourish,” occurred on Wednesday, 13th December 2023. Assistant Professor Dr. Hajar Muhammad Ali Kazem, from the Biomedical Engineering Department, was awarded the Creativity Medal. She received this honor from His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research in recognition of her contribution to a research project that obtained a patent titled “Manufacture of hybrid nanocomposite materials from polymer mixtures supported by natural nanoparticles for use in maxillofacial prosthetics repair.”
