{"id":5900,"date":"2025-07-08T07:42:20","date_gmt":"2025-07-08T07:42:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.kecbu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5900"},"modified":"2025-07-16T07:50:11","modified_gmt":"2025-07-16T07:50:11","slug":"al-khwarizmi-college-of-engineering-discussed-a-thesis-defense-about-tracking-targets-using-bayesian-filter-in-dynamic-robots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.kecbu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=5900","title":{"rendered":"Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering discussed a thesis defense about tracking targets using Bayesian filter in dynamic robots"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';font-size: 17px\">On Monday morning, Jul 7, 2025, the College of Al-Khwarizmi defended the thesis presented by the student <strong>Muhammad Saeed Najem<\/strong> in the Mechatronics Engineering department, and it is titled \u201cTarget tracking relying on dynamic robots using Bayesian filter,\u201d and a degree was awarded with good evaluation for his findings.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';font-size: 17px\">The thesis demonstrated a viable topic in computational vision and AI applications where tracking dynamic objects is a milestone in intelligent robot systems, and it has a direct effect in actual environments.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';font-size: 17px\">The researcher relied on Bayesian filter in his study as an advanced probabilistic framework to handle challenges related to invisibility, light change, and unpredictable object motion by a camera fixed on a movable robot.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Palatino Linotype';font-size: 17px\">The study showed promising capability of this algorithm in enhancing tracking accuracy and overcoming environmental obstacles.
