Engineering Consulting Office unit<\/h3>

About the consulting office:<\/span><\/p>\n

The Engineering Consulting Office was established at the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering \/ University of Baghdad on April 3, 2004 based on the university order in the letter of the Presidency of the University of Baghdad \/ Secretariat of the University Council No. (1\/A\/615). The office is supervised by a consultative body consisting of the Dean of the Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering (Chairman) and the membership of five faculty members in the college, including the office director, each of whom represents his field of specialization and holds a doctorate degree, and with each member is a work team of holders of doctorate, master\u2019s, and bachelor\u2019s degrees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Second: Objectives and tasks of the office:<\/span><\/p>\n

* Objectives :<\/span><\/p>\n

1- Putting scientific, technical and university expertise in the service of development plans in the engineering fields.<\/span><\/p>\n

2- Providing a high level of consultation and specialized expertise in the fields of medical engineering sciences and engineering Informatics, manufacturing process engineering. Biochemical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering (Pure and applied).<\/span><\/p>\n

3- Raising the level of the educational process by urging graduate students to research in vital fields which represents the direction of Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

4- Exchanging experiences with relevant authorities in the advanced engineering field in Iraq and neighboring countries.<\/span><\/p>\n

*\u00a0 Mission :<\/span><\/p>\n

1- Providing consultations in the field of plumbing workshop maintenance, heat and surface treatment, and equipment insurance and necessary equipment.<\/span><\/p>\n

2- Providing consultations in the field of connecting communications and computer networks.<\/span><\/p>\n

3- Design and create websites on the information network (Internet).<\/span><\/p>\n

4- Designing database software and scientific and engineering programs.<\/span><\/p>\n

5- Design and operation of chemical treatment plants and water purification plants.<\/span><\/p>\n

6- Providing consultations in the field of operation and maintenance of medical devices.<\/span><\/p>\n

7- Design and construction of automation and robot systems.<\/span><\/p>\n

8- Design and implementation of automated and regular production processes.<\/span><\/p>\n

9- Qualifying companies and departments according to ISO 9001:2000.<\/span><\/p>\n

10- Study the economic feasibility of industrial projects.<\/span><\/p>\n

11- Providing engineering studies and consultations related to environmental pollution.<\/span><\/p>\n

12- Designing industrial units for biological processes, bioreactors, filters, and sterilization of all kinds.<\/span><\/p>\n

13- Design laboratory equipment such as:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Logic Trainer device<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Digital Strain Meter<\/span><\/p>\n

-Corrosion Measuring Device<\/span><\/p>\n

-8086 Microcomputer<\/span><\/p>\n
