Student Activities<\/h3>

A brief overview of the unit<\/span><\/p>\n

The unit conducts awareness courses that include cultural and creative aspects, such as poetry, meetings, and seminars, aiming to increase interaction between college students and its members on the one hand, and a number of guests from different sectors on the other hand.<\/span><\/p>\n

The unit’s tasks are summarized in the following points:<\/span><\/p>\n

  1. Holding scientific competitions among college students.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Raising the spirit of competition among students by participating in cultural competitions within the framework of: competition within the college and competition within the university and other Iraqi universities.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Holding various sports competitions among college students, including table tennis, football, handball, and volleyball Billiards and basketball among students of various college departments, with the aim of spreading sports activity among students.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Selecting distinguished members from students in internal cultural and sports competitions to represent the college in the competitions<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Holding sports courses among college employees to create a kind of cohesion and harmony among all college employees.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Organizing a sports, social, and entertaining day for students.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Coordination with units and committees within the college, each in its capacity.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Preparing the student culturally, socially, athletically, and artistically, and discovering talents and helping to develop them.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. Contributing to building the student\u2019s personality culturally, socially, athletically, and artistically and guiding him; To achieve a balanced personality that loves its country and its leadership.<\/span><\/li>\n
  10. Developing students\u2019 sense of patriotism by linking them to the nation\u2019s achievements, introducing them to them, and confirming their belonging to it.<\/span><\/li>\n
  11. Discovering students\u2019 talents, developing them, refining them, and employing their creative energies in what is fruitful and useful.<\/span><\/li>\n
  12. Giving them additional knowledge and skills, and instilling noble values \u200b\u200band positive behaviors in them.<\/span><\/li>\n
  13. Increasing the spirit of fair competition, strengthening social relationships with their colleagues, professors, and community, and holding monthly, quarterly, and annual competitions.<\/span><\/li>\n

  15. Follow up on the implementation of the student activity plan in the college throughout the academic year.<\/span><\/li>\n

  17. Choosing supervisors for internal visits and trips.<\/span><\/li>\n
  18. Nominating male\/female students who will represent the college in university competitions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  19. Holding various sports competitions among college students.<\/span><\/li>\n
