{"id":4439,"date":"2024-10-31T08:12:13","date_gmt":"2024-10-31T08:12:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.kecbu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=4439"},"modified":"2025-11-10T11:07:28","modified_gmt":"2025-11-10T11:07:28","slug":"financial-affairs","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/en.kecbu.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?page_id=4439","title":{"rendered":"Financial Affairs"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text css=&#8221;&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">A brief overview of the division: It is the division responsible for preparing the necessary budgets to disburse the college\u2019s financial resources, following them up, and documenting the financial and accounting restrictions for revenues and expenses.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">It includes a group of units:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Budget unit<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 22px;\"><strong><span style=\"color: #993300; font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The unit&#8217;s work tasks are:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">It is responsible for the actual estimate of the financial expenses incurred by the college, or the debts that are paid annually.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">It works to prepare the general budget after collecting all the necessary information from it.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Payroll unit<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">The Payroll Unit is considered one of the important units in the Finance Division because of its direct connection to the rights of teaching and employment staff. It is specialized in managing the work of salaries for employees and contracts and preparing payrolls in accordance with the laws in calculating entitlements and deductions. The occupant of this position is subject to direct supervision by the Director of the Finance Division.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Records and accounts unit<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">The unit&#8217;s work tasks are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Keeping the daily record with its branches.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Keeping the revenue record, allocation record, consolidation record, and the accounting record with its branches.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Fund Secretariat Unit<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-size: 22px; color: #993300;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman';\">The unit&#8217;s work tasks are:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ol style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Editing receipts and posting them to the accounting register of deposits and withdrawals on the budget account.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Maintaining the incoming register for the Finance Division and following up on official letters with a time limit.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">It is a member of the inventory committee on the reports and 0fficial letter of the Financial Supervision Bureau.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Distributing the monthly salaries of technicians and administrators.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">consolidating and sending the periodic position of the lists of purchases (every three months) to the General Authority for Taxes for whose amounts exceed one million dinars. This task is carried out by a specialized employee.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li><span style=\"color: #993300;\"><strong><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Equipment unit<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">The unit is responsible for supplying all college units with supplies, equipment, and stationery, restoring damaged ones, and providing everything that will provide full support for the work of the departments and units in coordination with the services unit, purchasing committees, inventory committees, and others.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">\u00a0The unit&#8217;s work tasks are:<\/span><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Stocking warehouse materials according to the purchase receipt (in the entry forms) after obtaining the approval of the Dean.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Taking out each of the materials entering the warehouse after obtaining the approval of the Dean or the Administrative Assistant (via the warehouse release forms). <\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Answering the official letters received from the university.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">Participating in the annual inventory with the committee formed by the college dean. Arranging and organizing materials stored in the college\u2019s warehouses, according to the type of material.<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: justify;\"><span style=\"font-family: 'Times New Roman'; font-size: 19px;\">maintaining the warehouses, and submitting lists to the dean of the college of all damaged materials and those found inside the warehouse.
