Mission of the Department of Biochemical Engineering<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The Department of Biochemical Engineering is outstanding in preparing and qualifying engineers with engineering skills that keep pace with scientific and technological progress, and who are capable of developing and improving biochemical industries, environmental treatments, and sustainability that meet the needs of society.<\/span><\/p>\n

Strategic Objectives of the Department of Biochemical Engineering<\/u><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

  • Practice effectively as professional biochemical engineers<\/strong> in industrial, research, and academic environments, applying engineering principles and modern biochemical technologies to design and implement sustainable and economically viable solutions that address local and global challenges.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Pursue continuous professional development and lifelong learning<\/strong>, through postgraduate studies, professional certifications, specialized training programs, workshops, and advanced courses, enabling them to adapt to rapid developments in biochemical engineering and related interdisciplinary fields.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Compete successfully for advanced and leadership positions<\/strong> in reputable national and international companies, research centers, and governmental or non-governmental organizations, contributing to innovation, productivity enhancement, and technological advancement in the biochemical engineering sector.<\/span><\/li>\n
  • Demonstrate professional ethics, social responsibility, and effective teamwork<\/strong>, adhering to engineering codes of ethics, regulatory standards, and safety practices, while actively engaging in community service, voluntary initiatives, and professional and scientific activities that support sustainable development and societal well-being<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
