Department Vision:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0 to improve the quality of department higher education locally and regionally. This is\u00a0 done by developing curricula that provide students with understanding and participation through education and applicable research:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Developing the teaching staff in the department by granting scholarships and supporting them to visit other universities\u00a0 labs and research centers. Hence, scientific culture exchange happens.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Investing in the human resources available in the department and picking up talented people to support the development process in the country.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. Developing scientific research resources and techniques and employing its outputs to serve state institutions and the private sector.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Presenting a good introductory brief of the department to students, educational centers and government agencies concerned with the educational programs of the department. That helps to raise to the level of approving the quality of education within the specialization of the department.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. Make the various education programs outcome compatible with the requirements of technological development and the needs of society.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. Qualifying graduates with the ability to innovate and make decisions.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. Supporting professors to study abroad and conduct research and fellowships.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. Trying to achieve integration among other departments and specializations within the college through doing research in the fields of information technology and biomedical engineering.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Department Mission:<\/span><\/p>\n

    Improving the current reality of the society and contributing to building the country through teachers, engineers and scientific research. This is accomplished through:<\/span><\/p>\n

    1. \u00a0Graduating engineers that are capable of innovation, creativity and finding solutions to industrial problems in the society.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. \u00a0Preparing research that contributes to solving community problems.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. Create cooperation mechanisms between the department and other ministries in order to find solutions to the problems of the ministries.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. \u00a0<\/span> Doing engineering consultancy for various sectors of the government.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Department Objectives:<\/span><\/p>\n

      As long as the country is in a dire need for engineers who are specialized in modern disciplines in the field of engineering sciences, the department aims to: prepare qualified, empowered engineers who are able to support and serve the community by supplying the various ministries and the local markets. Contribute to solid and modern engineering research to support the scientific progress movement in the field of mechatronics engineering.<\/span><\/p>\n

      1. Contribute to the development of this modern and rare major , particularly , in the Arab world.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. Developing the skills of faculty.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Creating a suitable environment for education that requires the involvement of the students and stimulating their abilities.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. Expansion of applied education and scientific training.<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. Providing assistance to academic bodies in planning their educational engineering programmes.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
