Network Lab

About the laboratory:

The Network Lab is interested in teaching the student to the Department of Information and Communication Engineering to connect computer networks and the Internet wired and wireless. The laboratory contains an internal network that connects all the computers in it, allowing students to carry out experiments related to this field as well as the presence of various networking and wireless communication devices as well, which gives students a broad theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of networks.

Vision and objectives of the laboratory:

Students should have the possibility to learn about the basic concepts in the field of computer technology in general and in computer communication networks in particular through the preparation of competent technical engineers and provide technical and technical advice in the field of specialization and work to serve the community. The laboratory aims to:

1 – Provide engineers with the basic principles of the material of computer networks through the devices used through a set of laboratory experiments.

2 – Preparing cadres of technical engineers with a level of understanding and knowledge with the ability to deal with computer network systems.

3 – Focus on the practical aspect and pay a lot of attention to it by providing the laboratory in terms of equipment and software to ensure that engineers have sufficient experience and ensure their introduction to the labor market.

Electronics and Communication Lab

The laboratory was established with the beginning of the establishment of the department in 2002-2003This laboratory covers the practical and applied aspect of the theoretical study studied by the student in the subject of communication during the stages of study where the student learns the foundations of analogue and digital communication systems through the implementation of communication circuits for analogue, digital and pulse inclusion and how to calculate power values and draw incoming and outward waves for each system in addition to how to convert from analogue to digital and vice versa The laboratory aims to prepare engineering cadres specialized in the field of communication engineering Practical laboratory experiments are carried out using specialized devices with good specifications such as signal generators, osloscopes and avometers

Software Lab

The Programming Lab aims to develop and develop the skills of the students of the Faculty of Information and Communication Engineering in the field of programming languages and their engineering applications, in addition to office programs (AutoCAD & Microsoft office).

The laboratory follows the latest educational means and methods to achieve its goals and train students on these programs and applications, which benefits them in their scientific and practical lives.

Steps of the software inspection process The process of examining the software goes through a number of methodological steps that aim to achieve the best results regardless of the programming system followed to develop that software

Engineering Drawing Laboratory

The purpose of this laboratory is to teach students the language of engineers, which is engineering drawing, and is considered a basic subject for students of the first, second and third stages.
