Applied Mechanics Laboratory Synopsis
The CAD CAM Laboratory was established in 2002-2003 to keep pace with the development using computers in design and manufacturing. The laboratory is specialized in covering the training of students on the curriculum of the design subject in calculator and operation on the CNC machine for the fourth stage in the department of automated manufacturing. It also covers what the department’s students need in graduation projects and graduate students.
Goal
Introduce the student to the use of computers in the process of design and drawing with the program (CAD CAM) and benefit in the design of various molds as well as manufacturing using CNC programmed operating machines and digital control techniques.
In order to prepare an integrated unit linking the theoretical and applied aspects of the academic topics scheduled. Through the testing of a set of experiments and applied lectures, the student learns how to study the basics of design templates by computer, and to acquire knowledge of the programming language and its relationship to the design of programmed systems for the implementation of engineering designs.
Electrical and Electronics Lab
About the laboratory:
The laboratory was established with the beginning of the establishment of the department since 2002-200 and is one of the basic laboratories in the Department of Automated Manufacturing Engineering where students carry out basic and advanced experiments of electrical circuits and theoretical and practical design with different types of electronic circuits
The laboratory has the necessary devices for the completion of electronic circuits to perform laboratory experiments such as continuous voltage sources, integrated circuits, voltage and current measuring devices.
The main objective of the laboratory is to develop the practical experience of the students of the Department of Automated Manufacturing Engineering in the practice and performance of laboratory experiments, linking electronic circuits, examining and analyzing them, obtaining the required results and preparing a report on the experiment,
Vision and objectives of the laboratory:
It is one of the basic laboratories in the Department of Automated Manufacturing Engineering where students carry out the basic experiments of electronic circuits and theoretical and practical design with different types of electronic circuits and the laboratory has the necessary devices to complete electronic circuits to perform laboratory experiments such as: continuous voltage sources and alternating voltage sources as well as other necessary parts such as: resistors, integrated circuits and voltage measuring devices to perform laboratory experiments. The main objective of the laboratory is to develop the practical experience of the students of the department.
Engineering Workshop Laboratory
The purpose of this laboratory is to teach students how to work in workshops and laboratories by conducting practical exercises in lathing, welding, plumbing, filings and mechanical operations and is a basic laboratory taught to students of the first stage.
