For students who wish to receive a scholarship (fellowship, scholarship, study leave), As stated below:
1- A student can present a written request to the head of the department in which he intends to apply for a study abroad (Master’s or Ph.D.) and the application includes the following attachments:-
A- Personal identifications.
B – A legal undertaking that shows that the applicant is not enrolled in any graduate program in Iraq.
C – A letter of admission obtained from one of the universities recognized by the Ministry of higher education.
d- Curriculum vitae, Arabic and English.
C – TOEFL or IELTS certificate.
h- International health certificate.
H – Non-conviction certificate.
D- Abstract of the master’s thesis.
D- Doctoral statement of purpose.
T- Applying copies of the bachelor’s certificate for master’s applicants and copies of both bachelor’s and master’s certificates for doctoral applicants.
g- The application must be submitted in time before the deadline.
Q – Recommendations from referees in English version.
2- The application with the attachments above must be submitted by the head of the scientific department to a committee corresponding to the scientific specialization, then the application is forwarded to the minutes of a scientific committee. The committee must state that the applicant travel does not affect the teaching process.
3- Other instructions regarding admission to the host country or any other new instructions.
4- The file must be submitted in a letter signed by the head of the department or a memorandum to the Dean of the College for the purpose of referring it to the College Council.
5- The file is submitted by the college council with the college council minutes after obtaining approval accordingly. The submission is forwarded to the cultural relations unit for the purpose of checking the file and obtaining the service summary and the validity of the issuance of the certificate obtained from the Human Resources Division.
6- The applicant is provided with a letter of no objection or a letter of nomination addressed to the University of Baghdad / Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations.
