The College Council is the main forum for discussing appropriate solutions to scientific or administrative issues and problems facing the college that would hinder and impede scientific or administrative work, and arranging the appropriate recommendation agreed upon by all the majority of the members of the College Council so that it can be submitted to the university presidency and obtaining the necessary approvals for its implementation and adoption in a manner consistent with the laws and ministerial instructions. One of the most important tasks and duties of the members of the Council Secretariat is to approve the records of the scientific departments and refer their contents to the concerned parties to confirm the scientific and administrative opinion, so that the appropriate recommendation or decision can then be taken regarding them after obtaining the approval of the Council members, in addition to receiving the agenda and minutes of each session of the University Council and directing the assistants. The college is required to take the necessary measures regarding its issues and circulate its directives to all members of the College Council so that they can in turn circulate them to their members, as well as circulating the official letters sent electronically from the Committee of Deans of Faculties of Engineering and answering electronically in official letters after taking the scientific opinion of those with specializations, and in conclusion, arranging and coordinating the priorities of the issues to be presented to the council members then prepare a report for the college after formulating what was discussed as recommendations or decisions and submit it to the university presidency to obtain approval, after which it is transferred to the assistant deans of the college to take the necessary measures regarding those issues.
