University of Baghdad represented by AL Khwarizmi college of engineering , communication and information engineering department organized a scientific symposium titled ‘The psychology of Achieving Goals’ presented by the psychologist Safa Jassium Ahmed , ministry of Health, Medicine city governorate, training and development center on Thursday 5th , December 2024.
The symposium expressed the psychological aspects that affect goals achievement starting from how to determine goals properly moving toward psychological ways that stimulate achievement and ending with overcoming obstacles that might face individuals in their ways to achieve goals.
During the symposium, the lecturer Dr. Fatima Ibrahim sheds light on the importance of right planning and its turn in improving self-confidence and growing personal skills to attain requested goals. Also, the researcher explained the applicable aspects related to psychological health and its turn in improving professional and personal performance.
The symposium was very reactive where discussion is opened among attendees to exchange thoughts and personal experience about faced challenges during achieving goals and how to overcome them.
The symposium ended with the expression of gratitude and appreciation to lecturers on the exerted efforts and on the importance of such kind of symposiums in promoting psychological awareness and its role in building individuals and communities that have the capability in achieving success and development.
