Citizens Affairs unit
A brief overview of the emergence and establishment of the unit:
The unit was established on 3/30/2017. Before that, it was an email to facilitate the work of citizens and be directly linked to the honorable Dean.
The vision, mission and goals of the unit:
A – Receiving direct requests from citizens (professors, employees, and students) through a form prepared by the Citizens Affairs Unit.
B – Receiving citizens’ requests and complaints via the website (ca.iq), and the honorable Rector of the University will be informed of paragraphs A and B before submitting them to the above-mentioned website.
Achievements and tasks assigned to the unit:
- Three workshops were held since the establishment of the unit until the date of issuing the official letter of the Public Relations and Media Unit.
- Creating awareness-raising explanatory flexes about the mechanism and importance of the unit’s work.
- Conducting field visits to some of the university’s formations.
- The unit official’s participation in a special group for all university formations through (WhatsApp), and those responsible for it are (Mr. Nizar Majeed Mukhlif and Mr. Abdul Rahman Tariq Ismail) in the university Rector’s office, through which urgent books and all directives pertaining to the unit are published.
Tasks assigned to the unit official:
- Receiving citizens and facilitating their transactions with a maximum response time of three days.
- Sending completed applications via the unit’s email ([email protected]) to the Council of Ministers website (Ca.iq)
- Sending a monthly report on requests sent monthly on the 28th of each month.
- Send the statistical form to the university rector’s office on the 25th of each month.
