The Scientific Affairs Unit, in partnership with the Rehabilitation and Employment Unit, recently conducted a workshop titled “How to Get a Job While You Are a Student” at Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering. Aligned with UN SDGs 4 and 8, the event took place on 11/29/2023, featuring the Al Mahatta Foundation for Entrepreneurship. Covering diverse topics, it addressed job search strategies, time management, and common student challenges.
Discussions delved into essential job market skills and experiences from the private sector, encouraging active workforce participation. The workshop drew professors, students, and college staff, fostering interaction and engaging Q&A sessions. This initiative is part of Al-Khwarizmi College of Engineering’s ongoing efforts to motivate students to engage in the job market while pursuing their studies.
