To capitalize on the practical dimension and foster collaboration between the university’s educational institution and both public and private sector entities, the Biomedical Engineering Department, in partnership with Karl Kolb Company, the representative for American Bemkman Coulter Company, organized an instructional workshop on Wednesday, 11/22/202, at the College Council Secretariat Hall for meetings. The event was attended by faculty members, engineers from the Biomedical Engineering Department, and fifth-stage students in the scientific department.
The workshop focused on a comprehensive examination of a blood analysis device, providing both theoretical insights and hands-on demonstrations of its components. Representatives from the company, namely Engineer Ali Hussein Hameed and Engineer Walid Khaled Hussein, delivered the theoretical and practical explanations. The workshop’s significance lies in its contribution to meeting the demands of the job market, particularly within the health sector, government institutions, and private hospitals. It aims to equip engineering professionals with the necessary skills to stay abreast of modern technology, encompassing the understanding and maintenance of medical devices produced by international companies.
